Iconic 5-Spoke Design

  • The VS-5 replicates the aggressive look of the forged VS-5RS in a flow-formed wheel, offering excellent performance at a great value.

Pushing the Boundaries of Flow-Formed Manufacturing

  • The VS-5 offers the strength-to-weight ratio of forged wheels with only a 2-2.5 lb difference compared to its forged counterpart.

The Flow Form Advantage

  • Flow-forming improves the barrel’s mechanical properties and strength, enabling the use of less material and reducing wheel weight. The VS-5 has a higher load rating than some competitors’ forged wheels.

Side-Milled Spokes

  • Side-milled spokes reduce excess material while maintaining strength, using a precision CNC ball cutter. This process is often cost-prohibitive, but is essential for true performance.

Bigger, Tougher Inner Lip

  • Reinforced inner lip for better durability and protection against impacts from track berms, potholes, etc.

Maximizing Concavity

  • Deep Concave Profiles: The VS-5 uses three unique profiles to maximize concavity, reducing weight and providing an aggressive appearance while maintaining brake clearance.

Big Brake Clearance

  • Designed with 3D brake scans to accommodate large brake calipers. Features a 0-degree draft barrel for maximum brake caliper clearance.

Weight Optimized

  • Extensive Finite Element Analysis (FEA) ensures the VS-5 is lightweight without compromising strength.

Built for Impact Sockets

  • The VS-5 is compatible with oversized race lugs and impact sockets for quick, easy wheel swaps. Features 32mm socket diameter clearance.

Finishing and Quality

Finishing Touches

  • The VS-5 is finished with a multi-stage liquid paint over a powder-coated base coat. This ensures proper fit and torque values while leaving lug holes, center bores, and mounting pads untouched.

JWL and Beyond

  • All APEX Flow-Formed wheels meet or exceed JWL load rating requirements, ensuring high standards for strength and performance.

Additional Features

Hub Centric

  • Designed for specific vehicle applications. Very few require centering rings.

Center Caps

  • Includes gloss black caps. Limited OE cap support, but additional colors are available for select fitments.

Wheel Hardware

  • Compatible with OEM mounting hardware, aftermarket hardware, and most wheel spacers. Wheel locks and stud conversion kits are also supported.

TPMS Compatibility

  • Accepts both OEM and aftermarket Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors (TPMS), as well as standard fit valve stems. Metal stems in multiple finishes are available for selection.
