The S55 twin-turbo engine that powers the BMW M2C / M3 / M4 F8X is equipped with plastic intercooler pipes. These pipes are a weak link on any tuned car or in some cases even on a stock tune. The OE plastic pipes often crack and split at the turbo connections leaving you with a boost leak.
DO88 performance intercooler pipes offer a solution for improved reliability and of course at the same time minimize the restrictions by improving the air flow!
Squeezing in large pipes as 2.25” (57mm) is a challenge since there is not that much clearance between the engine cover and valve cover. Many after-market intercooler pipes make it impossible to snap the engine cover rubber grommets correctly onto its lock pins. DO88 have solved this issue by designing this pipe to include longer OE-style locking pipes for the engine cover.
DO88's final design is a full aluminum construction with mandrel bent pipes and CNC machined turbo flanges. DO88 also includes more durable silicone hoses that connects the pipes to the intercooler inlet flanges. For a cool stealthy look DO88 includes matte black hose clamps.
